Sherrell is a speaker, author, trainer, and trauma-informed wellness expert who specializes in leadership and stress management.
A proud military veteran who fights for the well-being of others draws upon her more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Yoga & Natural health, and her adventures in the military when delivering impactful and transformative wellness presentations.
Specializing in Federal human resources administration, employee and labor relations, Sherrell effectively coaches and guides new and seasoned managers through various workplace conflict and crisis related to conduct, performance, and health-related matters while successfully decreasing organizational liability. She routinely, provides management training using clear learning objectives and success-driven strategies that combine wellness and military approaches to becoming a more conscious leader. Her commitment to training leaders was recognized by the Environment Protection Agency when she was awarded the agency’s Bronze Medal for commendable service for delivery of EPA’s Successful Leaders Program to newly appointed managers and supervisors. Sherrell also has a strong commitment to community service. Her local and global community service efforts include work with her non-profit, The Vet Space, MindBody FAITH, faith-based organizations, and missionary work in Africa, to include her honorable active duty service with the U.S. Army, demonstrates her track record of dedicated service in business and community.
Sherrell holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration and certifications and expertise in labor and employee relations, diversity and unconscious bias, mental health first aid, emotional intelligence, yoga and meditation, natural health, and trauma. She is also a member of American Veterans (AMVETS), Women Veterans Interactive, U.S. Black Chambers, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
