Sherrell is the Managing Partner for SAGE holistic center, speaker, author, and trauma-informed wellness educator who specializes in leadership and holistic stress management.
Drawing upon her 10 years of experience teaching yoga, meditation, other healing arts and 13 years of leadership training Sherrell humbly serves by offering various wellness and leadership training.
Her commitment to training leaders was recognized by the Environment Protection Agency when she was awarded the agency’s Bronze Medal for commendable service for delivery of EPA’s Successful Leaders Program to newly appointed managers and supervisors.
Some of her wellness presentations such as, Five Must Have Traits For An Aspiring Leader and Stress Management Through Crisis And Change are popular among businesses developing new leaders.
Sherrell also, customizes wellness presentations for various community groups. For example, the MindBody FAITH program incorporates a faith-based yoga, meditation, and leadership component suitable for churches and other faith centered organizations.
Sherrell also has a strong commitment to community service. Her local and global community service efforts include work with her non-profit, The Vet Space, faith-based organizations, and missionary work in Africa, to include her honorable active duty service with the U.S. Army, demonstrates her track record of dedicated service in business and community.
Sherrell holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration and expertise in labor and employee relations, emotional intelligence, leadership training, diversity and unconscious bias.
She is a iRest® Level 1 Teacher informed by the teachings of Richard Miller and iRest Institute. Sherrell is also, registered with the National Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) and Holy Yoga (R-HYI). Her specialties and studies include Holy Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa flow-style yoga, Yin yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Restorative Yoga for Race Based Traumatic Stress Injury informed by the teachings of Dr. Gail Parker, Somatic movement, Christian Yoga Association Master Trainer (R-CYAMT), and Christian and Hebraic meditative practices. She is a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and certified in CPR, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and natural & holistic health through Trinity School of Natural Health.
Sherrell is the author of "Transparent Faith" and soon to be released, Meditate like a Boss. Sherrell has been featured Mantra Yoga + Health Magazine and her television and radio appearances include: WJLA’s Good Morning Washington, Fox5DC’s Good Day, Fox45 WFBB, and BMore Lifestyle.
