Sherrell is the Managing Partner for SAGE holistic center, speaker, author, yoga and meditation teacher, and trauma-informed wellness educator who specializes in leadership and holistic stress management.  

A proud military veteran who fights for the well-being of others draws upon her more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Yoga & Natural health, and her adventures in the military when delivering impactful and transformative wellness presentations.

Specializing in Federal human resources administration, employee and labor relations, Sherrell effectively coaches and guides new and seasoned managers through various workplace conflict and crisis related to conduct, performance, and health-related matters while successfully decreasing organizational liability. She routinely, provides management training using clear learning objectives and success-driven strategies that combine wellness and military approaches to becoming a more conscious leader. Her commitment to training leaders was recognized by the Environment Protection Agency when she was awarded the agency’s Bronze Medal for commendable service for delivery of EPA’s Successful Leaders Program to newly appointed managers and supervisors. Sherrell also has a strong commitment to community service. Her local and global community service efforts include work with her non-profit, The Vet Space, faith-based organizations, and missionary work in Africa, to include her honorable active duty service with the U.S. Army, demonstrates her track record of dedicated service in business and community.  

Sherrell holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration and certifications and expertise in labor and employee relations, emotional intelligence, diversity and unconscious bias. She is a iRest® Level 1 Meditation Teacher informed by the teachings of Richard Miller and iRest Institute. She is also, registered with the National Yoga Alliance (RYT-200) and Holy Yoga (R-HYI). Her specialties and studies include Somatic movement, Holy Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa flow-style yoga, Yin yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Restorative Yoga for Race Based Traumatic Stress Injury informed by the teachings of Dr. Gail Parker, Christian Yoga Association Master Trainer (R-CYAMT), and Christian and Hebraic meditative practices. She is a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and certified in CPR, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and natural & holistic health through Trinity School of Natural Health.
